Lets take a look at some kids that you will be seeing in the new Prep Hoops rankings later this month. Prep Hoops was able to see these players play in the opening month of the season.
Ethan Dugat (2022) – Landrum HS
Prep Hoops saw Dugat play at the Farm Bureau Insurance Event at Dorman HS in late November with the Cardinals. Dugat plays on the same team as Delta State (MS) signee Trey Smith. Dugat has the ability to play inside-out and still needs to tone up his young frame. Dugat is averaging 7.7 ppg for the Cardinals this season.
Micah Nelson (2022) – Carolina Forest HS (Myrtle Beach)
Nelson is a springy and bouncy young man for the Panthers. Nelson 6’3 runs the floor very well and still needs to finish on contact better at times. Nelson scored 20 points in a game vs Northwood Academy recently. Prep Hoops has seen Nelson play 3 times already on the young season.
Henry Evans (2023) – C.E. Murray HS (Greeleyville) (pictured on front)
Prep Hoops saw Evans back in Mid November playing for the War Eagles at the Georgetown Kraft Credit Union Tourney. Evans scored 20 points on night 2 of the event vs Philip Simmons. Evans was very composed for a young age and seeing really good minutes for the War Eagles. Evans has the ability to knockdown shots on the perimeter.
Brandon King (2023) – Laurence Manning Academy (Manning)
Prep Hoops just saw King this past weekend at the HTC Classic with the Swamp Cats. King 6’1 has a great nose for the ball and really hasn’t found his position yet on the floor. King will be a player that will fit into Head Coach Will Epps plans in the future.
