He can shoot the basketball as a face up four man stretching the floor to beyond the arc on occasion. Needs to continue to develop post moves and finish stronger around the hoop. Small college prospect. We spoke with the 2017 prospect to see how his season went this past year.
“I think it went pretty well overall. We had a late heart break in an overtime game versus United Township. We played well throughout the season and finished 25-9.”
What are the strengths of his game?
“Good mid-range, good post moves, and quality interior defense.”
Although Ellis is a dual sport athlete he tells us he wants to go the basketball route in college. Ellis runs with Quad City Elite on the travel team circuit.
