2021 PG Stock Risers
We begin our breakdown of the 2021 class with a look at the point guards who elevated their stock the most in the latest update!
Brandon Hall (Thornton)
Previous Ranking: NR
Current Ranking: #26
Hall opened our eyes at Summer Challenge with his physicality at the lead guard spot for Meanstreets 15U. Gets to the rim with power and can finish in the paint through and around defenders. Hall should emerge during his sophomore season at Thornton.
Jordan Rice (Rock Island)
Previous Ranking: #50
Current Ranking: #36
Rice is a smaller point guard, but this kid can flat out go! Rock Island High School and Quad City Elite have both had a tradition of strong play at the point guard spot. Coaches at both are confident that Rice is the next in line. He displayed that in July with his combination of playmaking and scoring.
Christian Henry (St. Rita)
Previous Ranking: NR
Current Ranking: #36
This St. Rita point guard is a compactly built point guard that can score the rock. Attacks downhill with strength and does a nice job of finishing with acrobatics at the cup. Capable three point shooter. Played well at both the Hoop Group Camp and PrepHoops Summer Challenge in July.
