2019 Chase Paar Discuess Final 5 Schools
2019 power forward Chase Parr of Glenelg Country and Team Thrill recently cut his school list to a final five with Xavier, Temple, UMBC, George Mason and Nebraska making the cut. In our recently updated 2019 rankings for Maryland/DC, Parr was slotted in the 16th spot.
When asked to describe his game, Parr said, “I am a very versatile big man who can play inside and out. I can step out and hit the three and take someone off the dribble or play with my back to the basket in the low post. I am also a great passer out of the post and I like to facilitate the game out of there.”
He discussed each school that is in his final five.
Xavier: “They see me as someone who can come in and make an immediate impact. They are in a great conference and I have a good relationship with the coaches.”
Temple: “I liked the campus and facilities on my visit and it is somewhere I can make an immediate impact.”
UMBC: “They see me as a player who can have a big impact right away. I have been talking to them the longest out of any of the schools in my top 5 and because of that I have a great relationship with that staff.”
George Mason: “I liked the school a lot on my visit, I have a good relationship with the coaches and it is somewhere I can make an impact right away.”
Nebraska: “They see me as a player who is a great fit in their system and that I can make an impact right away.”
