Wisconsin Dells Player of the Week 3/7 – 3/13
March Madness was in full effect this past week with some outstanding games and performances. Here are your five nominees for the Wisconsin Dells Player of the Week! Make sure you vote for your favorite.
Matt Chastain (LeRoy)
What a week for the senior wing as he captured a 1A state title along with 8 D1 offers! His best performance was in the super sectional where he had 34 points (14-17 FG) and 12 rebounds against Newark where he put on a show!
Brandon Trimble (St. Joseph Ogden)
The junior shooting guard led his team to the 2A state title over the weekend. He was masterful in their semifinal game going for 44 points and grabbing 12 rebounds against Breese Central.
Jordan Goodwin (Belleville Althoff)
In what might be Althoff’s toughest game to get to state Goodwin was at his best against Centralia. The junior scored in a variety of ways including a handful of tough jumpers on his way to 32 points.
Zac Rzewnicki (Ridgewood)
Rzewnicki hit a half-court shot on his home floor to capture a sectional championship against St. Patrick’s. The junior wing had 20 points and 13 boards in the contest.
Devin Gage (Curie)
In the fourth battle between Curie and Kenwood the DePaul commit came up big recording 23 points in the win and helping his team advance to the supersectional.
