State Tournament: Wednesday’s Top Moments

- Goodnews Kpeogel tried to attack Amir Coffey in the open floor and Amir threw the shot back hard with one of the most impressive retreating blocks you will ever see.
- John Bezdicek giving the Orioles four possessions of three points on those possessions in the first half. His scores had them flying out of the game.
- Nick Fossey hitting a trey and then screaming in excitement pumping up his team and getting the entire North Panthers crowd going.
- Aage Rovney hitting his first seven three-pointers as his makes completely turned the game against DGF. It was somewhat close and then Aage exploded. Never missed a trey all game.
- Brad Davison to Reed Nikko for a two-hand alley-oop dunk and credit also goes to Taron Pickford for a great screen. Maple Grove lost but it was one of the most impressive plays of the day.
- Xavier Johnson used a nasty crossover to remove a defender and then attacked hard with a floater that swished while the crowd was still cheering the separation.
- JCC big Bodey Behrends blocks a shot on one end, runs the floor moments later and two-hand put-backs a missed carom with two hands screaming the entire time he threw down.
- Demario Armstrong missed a an open floor dunk that he tried to destroy the rim on but minutes later he got the throw down he was hoping for putting down a leaner in front of his home crowd.
- Colton Timmer shoves Colton Lampert, Lampert goes at Timmer, teammates move Lampert to foul line where he hits two, Timmer goes other way and makes a trey, JCC goes on big run to end the game.
- Brady Rudrud throwing an alley-oop to Nick Geolat for a two hand throw down
- Zach Theisen of Osseo warming up at what looked to be about 30 percent and he still played
- Bodey Behrends chases down loose ball with Owen King, King stops hoping it goes out, Bodey dives saving it to Matt Ringkob who then behind the back passes to a teammate while tip-toeing the corner and JCC scores. The play that showed which team wanted it more.
Ext) Tessy Pal talking to the media after the game in a gracias was handling himself with class and giving all kids an example of how to talk to the public after a loss.
