Ferris State, Lewis University (IL), and Fresno Pacific are all actionable offers for Rosser.
“I visited Fresno in August,” said Rosser. “I visited Lewis at the end of July. The Fresno visit went pretty good. I don’t know about going all the way to California though because I want to stay kind of close…they are not at the top of my list.”
Rosser is not closed to new offers. In fact, the clutch performer would like to resuscitate his early Northern Illinois University interest.
“The assistant coach and I talked a bit in the spring,” said Rosser. “Nothing has come of that, but I would like to hear more from them.”
Micah Rosser Timeline
Playoffs begin March 7th and Rosser intends to hit the road quickly after his season ends. Some recruits elect to commit in the fall, to remove any recruiting angst from the senior season. Playing as a senior in front of recruiters can be beneficial. It is really difficult to know which is more fruitful.
“I am still anxious, nervous about it,” said Rosser. “I don’t want to make a bad decision and be at a bad school.”
By playing with the Grand Rapids Storm AAU program, Rosser earned looks. He added offers. With his East Kenwood High School team there is still a chance of further evaluations, obviously augmented by advancing deeper in the playoffs
“I will make official visits after the season ends,” said Rosser. “I still have time to decide.”
Which schools will earn the official visits? It remains up in the air. Rosser will be playing basketball beyond 2016. The destination will be determined soon.
“I going to decide after our season, before April signing period,” said Rosser. “So, before April 14th.”
