Maes may not be the first name that jumps off the page when looking at the X-factor list, especially coming off a season in which he averaged 3.0 points per game. However Pueblo County graduated a significant amount of senior production, and Maes will have an opportunity to step into a much bigger role. He showed what he can do at the JV level, averaging 12.3 points per game and now needs to translate that production to varsity. With increased minutes, experience and opportunity, Maes could be an important piece in keeping the team competitive this season
