Class 4A District 15: Don’t sleep on these guys

I have already touched on the 6 <a href="https://prephoops.com/2026/09/early-predictions-class-4a-district-15-1st-team/">prospects</a> that could see their names called by season's end.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>But, there are other prospects in the district that could make noise and challenge for a spot.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>It's highly possible the 2nd Team could be filled with talent.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Here are prospects to keep an eye on:</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='2413439' first='Jayden' last='Jordan-James'], Collierville: The senior guard was an All-District player last season at Arlington after averaging 13.7 points per game on 47 percent shooting for a Tigers team that won 24 games and finished 3rd in the district behind Bartlett and Houston. Jordan-James will be playing for the Dragons this upcoming season. He's a 6-foot-3 guard that's not afraid to attack the basket. Jordan-James can make shots from the perimeter. He plays with high energy and gives pure effort on both ends of the floor. Jordan-James will be a key player for the Dragons under first-year head coach Erik Buggs.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='2655029' first='RJ' last='Tate'], Houston: Tate was an All-District 1st Team selection for Arlington last season after averaging 17.4 points per game on 50 percent shooting. This upcoming season, he will playing alongside [player_tooltip player_id='2101889' first='Justin' last='Frison'] and [player_tooltip player_id='2111892' first='Jordan' last='Myles'], the two cornerstone pieces the Mustangs have leaned on for the past three seasons. Tate will take a lot of attention off Frison and Myles, thanks to his scoring ability. Being efficient will definitely help. Tate being a 3-level scorer will pay dividends for a Houston team that's finally looking to break through and get to Murfreesboro, Tennessee to compete for a Class 4A state title.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='2781134' first='Christian' last='Coleman'], Collierville: Coleman is a key returning piece for the Dragons. The 6-6 forward averaged 13.5 points and 9.0 rebounds per game last season. Coleman finishes well around the rim. He's not afraid to crash the boards. Coleman runs the floor well. He's on the same team with [player_tooltip player_id='3532891' first='Desean' last='Clayton'] and [player_tooltip player_id='2413439' first='Jayden' last='Jordan-James']. All three will average double-digits in scoring. For one more season, Coleman should lead the team in rebounds.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='2979284' first='Malachi' last='Hill'], Bartlett: Hill's role for the Panthers should be bigger this upcoming season. He's the other ball handler and decision maker Bartlett should trust whenever junior point guard [player_tooltip player_id='2194475' first='Braylon' last='Williams'] is on the bench for a quick breather. Hill plays with great pace and can make shots from the perimeter. There's no drop-off with him as the other point guard on the roster. Hill will get the opportunity to contribute offensively.
