The 2026-27 season is almost here. In Tennessee, a lot of talent resides in Class 4A, especially in District 15.

Only 5 spots are available on the 1st Team. New faces are in the district. Plenty of familiar faces are in the district as well.

It's going to be a gauntlet to see who makes it out and lands on the 1st Team.

It's early, but here's an early prediction of who could possibly make the Class 4A District 15 1st Team:

[player_tooltip player_id='2101889' first='Justin' last='Frison'], Houston: Frison has been the captain for the Mustangs since his freshman season, and he hasn't shied away from the role. He's been an All-District player for the past three seasons. Just last season, the Murray State commit was crowned Class 4A District 15 Player of the Year and a Mr. Basketball candidate. The goal will be the same for the upcoming season: Rack up more individual accolades and try to get Houston to Murfreesboro, Tennessee to compete for a state title.

[player_tooltip player_id='2111892' first='Jordan' last='Myles'], Houston: Myles should be productive for one more season. The 6-foot-5 wing has been a cornerstone piece for the Mustangs. Myles will get great looks thanks to the attention [player_tooltip player_id='2101889' first='Justin' last='Frison'] and new teammate [player_tooltip player_id='2655029' first='RJ' last='Tate'] will receive. He can make shots from the perimeter. It's also expected for him to crash the boards. A season averaging 20 points and 9 rebounds per game isn't farfetched for Myles.

[player_tooltip player_id='2194475' first='Braylon' last='Williams'], Bartlett: Williams makes the Panthers' offense go. His decision making ability is unmatched. Add in his scoring ability and the Panthers have the perfect balance in a point guard that's capable of affecting the game in different ways. In 2 years, Williams has had big time offensive performances. He's had games where he's only needed to control the pace. Williams can be the best player on the floor when his number is called. No moment is too big for him.

[player_tooltip player_id='2291122' first='Dylan' last='Jones'], Bartlett: Jones has been the big shot maker for the Panthers. He's led the team in scoring in the past 2 seasons. Jones plays with great energy. He feeds off the crowd. Jones seems to get in the zone when the crowd is fully engaged. When he's in the zone, Jones sees many shots go in. I expect his final high school season to be spectacular.

[player_tooltip player_id='3532891' first='Desean' last='Clayton'], Collierville: Clayton is a sophomore that could be an impactful player in year one for the Dragons. He's a 6-5 wing that can make shots and stretch the floor. Pairing him with senior guard [player_tooltip player_id='2413439' first='Jayden' last='Jordan-James'] and senior forward [player_tooltip player_id='2781134' first='Christian' last='Coleman'] gives Collierville a boost to be a well-balanced offensive ball club. Clayton should be a double-digit scorer this upcoming season.

[player_tooltip player_id='2194617' first='DJ' last='Okoth'], Bartlett: Okoth is one of the most athletic wings in the district. His length and athleticism alone makes him a tough prospect to guard. Okoth is going to rebound. He could possibly lead the Panthers in rebounds this upcoming season. Okoth finishes well around the rim. He capitalizes on every opportunity in transition. Okoth will once again be a double-digit scorer for Bartlett. Averaging a double-double in 2026 is definitely a possibility for the No. 1 player in 2028.

The 2026-27 season is almost here. In Tennessee, a lot of talent resides in Class 4A, especially in District 15.
