Prep Hoops Indiana : The Expo | Team 9 Evals

All of our events at Prep Hoops Indiana generate a lot of attention across the state. However, the growth of The Expo is a major point of pride for our team as we wrap up the summer. This year we double the size of the event bringing in nearly 120 prospects in the Classes of 2027 and 2028. Also, more than just the raw numbers, the level of talent was very impressive. We hosted over 40 Top 100 prospects today and had college coaches from the Division II, Division III, and NAIA levels in attendance. This was truly one of the best exposure events of the year that you could attend as a prospect.   As always, we will be unleashing a ton of content over the next week or so coming out of The Expo. We will have evaluations of every player in attendance post on a team-by-team basis. Also, top performers, new names, and more will be highlighted. Here is a full evaluation for Team 9. [player_tooltip player_id='2871458' first='Owen' last='Platt'] is a confident guard that's comfortable playing on or off the ball. Showed his shooting ability in 5v5 portion of camp as well as his unselfishness and court vision off the dribble.     One of the more intriguing prospects I got to see was [player_tooltip player_id='2140347' first='Davonté' last='Rhodes'] of Perry Meridian. Long and athletic wing that's working with a lot of tools. Showed his switch-ability on the defensive end as well as a high motor looking to make plays. Offensively he was able to get to the rim and finished in a variety of different ways.     Fundamentally sound wing/forward that uses his size and strength to his advantage. [player_tooltip player_id='2560343' first='Brody' last='Bolen'] of Huntington North showed his inside-out ability all day long at the Prep Hoops Indiana: The Expo. Strong rebounder on both ends with some pop in athleticism when finishing strong around the basket. Also showed his perimeter game off the dribble and is a capable shooter off the catch.     Another confident guard on Team 9 from the Prep Hoops Indiana: The Expo was 6'2” Tri-West 2027 Guard [player_tooltip player_id='2633744' first='Jaxon' last='Paris']. Great motor combined with a high IQ and knack for making the right play. Excellent cutter off the ball that allowed him to show off his quick trigger shooting ability. Understands how to get open and takes what the defense gives him.     Scrappy 5'11” guard out of Peru that did a good job balancing scoring and facilitating. Loved his communication skills on both ends of the floor. [player_tooltip player_id='2140322' first='Ben' last='Wynkoop'] is a temp pusher with intriguing court vision. In the half court he uses angles well to get to spots but did a nice job of not over driving and finding open teammates on the perimeter. Also a balanced shooter with a quick, repeatable release.     Fluid athlete at the guard spot, Bishop Chatard 2028 Guard [player_tooltip player_id='2897749' first='Robbie' last='Jackson'] was creating chaos on the defensive end all camp long. Quick feet and active hands, he was able to pressure full court and make things extremely difficult on the opposition. Plays with great energy and the effect he had on the defensive end of the floor was fun to watch.     High motor wing that was able to make plays on both ends of the floor with his length and athleticism. Hard nosed competitor that played with great energy and effort showing his impact on the boards. Brownsburg Product [player_tooltip player_id='3772398' first='Jaylen' last='Terrell'] is a really good athlete that showed some playmaking ability off the dribble, but was really good finishing around the basket off misses. Versatile defender that was able to guard multiple positions and always seemed to be in the right spot on rotations.     Warsaw 2028 Guard [player_tooltip player_id='3755544' first='Brahdee' last='Taylor'] was really good in the games I got to see of him at the Prep Hoops Indiana: The Expo. Good framed guard that was able to put constant pressure on the rim off the dribble. Showed his ability to play through contact while still making plays for others. Also saw him knock down a couple catch and shoot three's with a clean stroke. High motor guard that was fun to watch because of the effort he played with on the floor.     Inside-out wing forward that was yet again impressive in front of me. This was the second time I have gotten eyes on Floyd Central 6'4” 2028 Wing/Forward [player_tooltip player_id='2538849' first='Ethan' last='Noble'] and he is as steady as they come. Good frame with all around skill. Good shooter off the catch, but is best off the dribble where he's an intriguing passer as well as a matchup problem with his size. High energy prospect that rebounded well and plays with an unselfish mindset.
