After a busy weekend in Auburn where we hosted over 260 players this past Sunday, we are now getting into our team by team evaluations of every player who attended The Expo. We had some great competition between our 2027 and 2028 classes, with players showcasing their rising prospect status, as well as some less familiar names showing us why they deserve more attention. We'll get into it all, but first, let's get to know the guys repping Team 3 at The Expo.

Everett is a pretty athletic guard who was really being aggressive with his touches at the showcase and constantly ended up around the paint. Could mix it up with long strides to the hoop, or short, choppy steps to get around his man in close, and did pretty well to play off of two feet inside. Brought big energy to the floor and played hard throughout the day.

Rasmussen has shown some steady improvement over the spring and summer, and continued to display that same progress at The Expo over last weekend. He's a pretty mobile post at 6-foot-8 who played with a high work rate, some improved rebounding, and the type of hustle that netted his team extra possessions. He's a kid who can get up and down the floor, make some plays on the offensive glass, and showed some more fight to play through bodies and contact.

Pond showed he can add some real dynamism to the court as a ball handler who can locate space, knock down shots, and navigated the pick-and-roll at a high level. Was excellent all day at reading pick-and-roll defenses and anticipating where the space would be, and showcased his shot-making from different levels when he can get into space under control. Also did a great job getting the ball into the middle of the defense with some quick moves on the perimeter, but it was also a result of where he was starting his attacks from, allowing himself the proper angles and lanes to get middle and break down the defense.

Smith is a key guy on his Davis Pirates squad who are reloading with some transfers this winter. He's a kid who can knock down the outside shot at a good clip and put his deep range on display at the showcase. He knocked down shots off the catch, but also showed the confidence to walk into some threes with defenders hanging back and giving him space. He also did well to not force drives, keep the ball moving, and make some quick decisions with the ball.

Holloway was another player on this team that came ready to shoot on Sunday. He showed off one of the quickest pulls at the showcase and was ready to let it fly whenever he had space. He ended with a solid percentage from deep and really forced defenses to keep track of him both in the half court and in transition with his ability to quickly get set and shoot off the catch.

One thing that has become readily apparent with Seminara, is his added strength and size. I still remember the wiry freshman who hung out on the perimeter and mainly shot threes. Seminara still incorporates that outside shot, though much more in the midrange now, but his size and strength have become a real factor for his game. He is pairing that size with his skill and really showed an ability to move guys on his drives and touches down low. Was also pretty active on the defensive end with some smart doubles in the post, and a few blocks and steals.

Bynum has been one of my favorites players to get to know in 2026. The 6-foot-9 post has legit size, good feet, and even better touch than I had known. Knew he had good touch in close but he was also showing off his extended range with his jumper at the showcase, knocking in a soft turnaround jumper just above the foul line, and then splashing in a three from the top of the arc. He also showed off a shorter turnaround jumper from above the blocks, and did a great job establishing quick posts early in possessions when he knew he had an advantage on his defender.

Downing is a long, athletic wing player who can stretch the floor at times, but was really impressive at the showcase for his contributions on the glass. At 6-foot-6, and with his athleticism, he's got the ability to make an impact in a lot of ways, and the one that really stood out on Sunday was his aggression and desire to hit the boards. He did it on both ends, and racked up a handful of second chance points all on his own with some great put backs and tip-ins.
