Ben Howlett Elite Camp Preview | Forwards/Centers to Watch

The Second Year for the Ben Howlett Elite Camp on the campus of IU-Indy this weekend, August 29th and 30th. With a session on each day, each session has a loaded lineup of prospects from Indiana and surrounding states. Here is a preview of  Forwards and Centers to Watch at the Ben Howlett Elite Camp:    Fundamentally sound 2027 Center out of West Vigo that is a game changer offensively on the low block while also having the ability to stretch out to the perimeter. Good hands and good footwork in pick and roll and pick and pop situations. Defensively he's a paint clogging big that rebounds at an high level and protects the rim. Intriguing post player who holds offers from Wabash and DePauw.     Big time Forward/Center out of Southwest Indiana that continues to stretch out his game, but still knows what his bread and butter is. [player_tooltip player_id='2140443' first='Tait' last='Wetzel'] out of Heritage Hills is an inside-out skilled four-man that does a lot of different things on the floor. Athleticism keeps getting better and better every time I see him. Capable three-point shooter along with perimeter skills that allow him to drive closeouts. Physical post presence with good footwork and a soft touch over his left shoulder. Top 60 player in the Indiana Class of 2027 who holds offers from Brescia, Saint Francis, IU-Kokomo, and IU-Southeast.     Extremely skilled 2028 player out of Marion that that has his best basketball ahead of him. [player_tooltip player_id='2797660' first='Manu' last='Jackson'] is an inside-out forward that is trending to becoming a big time wing. Physical frame at 6'5” that is capable of taking over games on both ends of the floor. Capable shooter off the catch, but thrives getting downhill where he uses his physicality to his advantage. Versatile defender and big time rebounder that will be affective in camp setting make him one of the top players to watch this weekend at the Ben Howlett Elite Camp.     The top overall prospect at the camp will be Josh Henderson, 6'6” Forward out of Carmel. Henderson is another skilled forward that is on the verge of transitioning into a wing with his perimeter skills continuing to get better and better. Capable shooter off the catch that is also relentless off the dribble getting all the way to the rim where he has pop athletically to finish with authority. Potential Indiana All-Star looking to get his senior season jump started with a good performance in front of college coaches this weekend.     Skilled inside-out forward out of Southwest Indiana that produces on both ends of the floor in every game he plays. Versatile defender that continues to improve his lateral movement and athleticism to guard smaller and quicker players. Offensively he's a skilled inside-out four man that's comfortable with the ball in his hands driving his matchup while also being a post up threat on smaller defenders. Fundamentally sound forward that plays extremely hard and makes winning plays.     One of the youngest prospects attending camp, [player_tooltip player_id='3694039' first='Brody' last='Overton'] of Evansville Mater Dei is a high potential forward that already has a big defensive impact on the floor and continues to become more skilled on the offensive end. Mobile big man that blocks shots and rebounds at a high level. Offensively more perimeter oriented with a smooth jumpshot, but has also continued to improved around the basket with a jump hook. Expected to be a varsity contributor from Day 1. Will have to add weight, but is starting off with a solid base skillset. Once he gets acclimated to the speed and physicality of the varsity game, he will be a game changer throughout his career.
