Six Prospects to Watch at The Expo – Part Three

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>We put a lot of time into promoting our Prep Hoops Indiana Freshman Showcase and the Prep Hoops Indiana Sophomore ID Camp because they are so important for early exposure and always attract so many talented prospects. However, in terms of actually translating to playing basketball at the collegiate level, The Expo is our most important event. This is where there will all actually be college coaches in attendance and even more paying attention to what we write and release after the fact. He is a 6'3" two-way guard/wing that should be ready to step into a larger role at the varsity level. The 6'4" wing/forward checks a lot of boxes in terms of athletic and physical tools. He is a strong right hand driver who can rise up and play above the rim at the end of his drives. There were some good moments throughout this spring and summer with [program_tooltip program_id='2400093' first='Indiana' last='Elite Team Tradition'] 17u. The 6'2" guard caught the attention of everyone in the gym with a couple of drives and head-turning, athletic dunks. The explosive athleticism is certainly there, but he pairs it with some legitimate perimeter skills as well. He is a high-upside Class of 2028 prospect that is starting to see his stock rise. He averaged 12.7 points, 2.9 rebounds, and 1.9 assists per game. Emerick is quick with the ball in his hands, gets paint touches consistently, and is a very talented scorer off of the bounce. LaGrange was their primary interior threat and will enter The Expo as a stock-riser in the Class of 2028. He finishes well out of the dunker's spot, has good hands around the basket, and is consistently active on the glass. He was a role player in the backcourt as a junior and is coming off a strong summer that should help propel him into a larger role as a senior.
