Seven 2030 Freshman Guards to Watch

<p class="text-gray-700">Judah Schultz is a six-foot-two-inch 2030 guard from Little Falls that played More Than Hoops this spring for AAU. Schultz started Varsity for Little Falls as an 8th grader. Schultz has solid size for a guard, at this age and older. Schultz displayed maturity as a shooter and ball handler during the high school season and should be a top contributor for Little Falls.</p>     <p class="text-gray-700">David Hicks IV is a five-foot-eight-inch 2030 Hopkins guard that played with Team Hudson 2030. Hicks has range on his shot and can make open jumpers. When flowing in a free environment Hicks showed he can take and make pull-up 3-pointers with good accuracy and efficiency. Lewis shows good aggressive downhill attack ability with the ball in his and he runs the floor in transition with solid finishing ability. Lewis can operate with the ball or without, and tends to be better off the ball as a shooter and attacker. Maetzold is a on-target deep range shooter, and is a mature ball handler that will shoot up when he gains more strength and height. </p>     <p class="text-gray-700">Duke Fowler is a six-foot-two-inch 2030 guard from Minnetonka and Minnesota Elite. Fowler does look like a prospect that could grow still and work himself into either being a bigger guard or a wing. Fowler shows good shooting ability spotted up or in movement situations, a player that can make triples in large bunches and good streaks.</p>     <p class="text-gray-700">Oscar Bradley is a six-foot-one-inch 2030 guard that will go to SW Christian and plays with Team Hudson 2030. Bradley shows good court IQ, passes the ball, plays team defense, and at times some range on his shot. Bradley as a secondary ball handler is almost all as scorer and attacker from the perimeter.</p>     <p class="text-gray-700">Yohan Godwin is a six-foot-one-inch 2030 Blaine guard that has wide appearing shoulders. Godwin has solid strength and upper body build as a freshman and displays maturity as scorer off the dribble and attacking downhill. Godwin's physical size makes him a versatile defender.</p>
