The 2028 AZ class is absolutely loaded. That said, prep schools are constantly bringing in players for their national rosters, which makes it even harder for AIA kids to improve the rankings. But these kids made their mark throughout S7 and Nevada/California Live, as well as their respective AAU circuit sessions. As of right now, all of these players on the list have been garnering lots of Division 1 and Division 2 interest.

[player_tooltip player_id='2689898' first='Caden' last='Lozen'] Prescott:

The hyper-athletic wing continues to show his upside. The dunks that he is able to throw down in transition are things that most can't do. He is continuing to grow his half-court offensive game with a nice catch-and-shoot 3-ball. Along with that, Caden can also get by defenders and finish in the paint. He plays hard defensively and will continue to improve as the years go on. Caden will have a massive role for this Prescott team and will continue to blossom.

[player_tooltip player_id='2689901' first='Drew' last='Jolley'] Prescott:

Drew has been improving rapidly and showing out all summer. He provides a low-post presence for his team and can catch lobs out of the dunker spot. Drew tracks the ball well coming off the rim, which allows him to get a lot of putback dunks. In the midrange area, Drew is able to size you up and elevate into his midrange jumper. On defense, Drew blocks shots at a high rate and rebounds well. He was a double-double machine all summer and will continue to do that heading into the AIA season.

[player_tooltip player_id='2466075' first='Jayvein' last='Moody'] Mountain Pointe:

The hyper-athletic combo guard continues to score at a high rate. Jayvein has had some nasty poster dunks throughout the summer due to his ability to take off from anywhere around the basket. He has a good-looking jumper that he can hit consistently. Jayvein defends hard on defense and produces a ton of steals. He will play a huge role for Mountain Pointe as they have high expectations this season.

[player_tooltip player_id='2194808' first='Carter' last='Bagley'] Sunnyslope:

A pronounced scorer who continues to improve his game. Carter can score with the best of them and is a true 3-level scorer. He uses his frame to punish defenders in the post/midrange area, often using fadeaways. Carter has a nice pull-up three that he gets to often. Defensively, he uses his strength well to push defenders off of their line. Carter will continue to develop and get better the next couple of years at Sunnyslope.

[player_tooltip player_id='2386977' first='Kyle' last='Speed Jr'] Gilbert:

A dominant wing who can control all aspects of the game. Kyle is a tremendous leader and can motivate his teammates to play harder. Along with that, he has an elite midrange game and a next-level post game. Kyle controls the glass as well as anyone I have seen at the high school level. He rebounds on both sides of the ball and has a high motor to attack the glass every possession. Kyle will have a breakout season at Gilbert this season.
