PH National Open Championship: Day 1 Standout Guards

He attacks the basket with a purpose and utilizes crafty maneuvers to side step defenders to get there. He also dishes out assists to his shooters in the corners and on the wings regularly. Making him a high impact player on the offensive end. He also gets after it on defense, and can poke the ball away if his matchup isn't careful. He also has the burst to get downhill, and is fearless when he goes up with it. Which also led to him getting to the free throw line occasionally. On the defensive end, Akison applies consistent pressure and helps force turnovers with his quickness. He slashes to the rack thanks to his acceleration skills. Plus he was burying shots from the perimeter. It seemed like he was scoring every other possession, and had to have wound up with 20+. Hudson also battled on defense, where he was disruptive with his active hands. He has a nose for the hoop and splashed in shots from just about everywhere for Harbor Impact. He also shows good patience when he's in the paint as well and can play off of two feet if needed. He was moving around a lot off ball, and got open for one catch and shoot opportunity after another. He also capitalized a majority of the time, which gave the Jayhawks some real momentum. By the end of the game he had to have connected on at least 4 or 5 triples. And was likely one of the best snipers I saw all day. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- /wp:acf/evaluation-block -->
