Aaron’s S7 Qualifier Standouts : Last 6

With June ball in full effect we arrive at the Section 7 Qualifiers. The Qualifiers give teams a great chance for them to prove they are one off the best programs in the state and punch there ticket to one of the premier events in Arizona and in the Nation.   Players get to finally show college coaches and scouts the work they have put in since the season ended. Some players have taken on bigger roles or have transferred to new schools for new oppritunites.   I will have three articles containing 6 players each making up for the 18 players that impressed me the most. Only the players that i was able to view will be mentioned. He likes to post smaller guards and finish strong at the rim or use a nice post fadeaway. He has a smooth and square shot that looks good every time it comes off his hands. He has a nice handle an is a underrated athlete that can blow by defenders and finish high by the rim. Dasaan has a very calm game and never seems to get flustered or rushed. He will be a huge part in the Champions success this year.     DeAmare is a quick guard that can score and set the table for others. He has a shifty and quick handle that gives him the ability to break down defenders. He would use finesse finishes in the paint or floaters over bigger defenders. He can hit the three off the catch and off the dribble. He has extended range and will hit the three a few feet off the line. I expect him to have a big year for the panthers.     Charles is a underrated two way guard primed for a breakout season. Despite his size he is a great finisher at the rim. He has a quick first step and can get down hill with ease. Charles has a tight handle and can handle on ball pressure. When he gets to the middle he always finds a way to get the ball over defenders. Charles has a nice shot from the outside and cant be left open. He is a fantastic defender and has great feet. He will cut off and bump ball handlers making hit hard to get around him.     Kevin is a athletic guard that can get hot in a hurry. He plays his best in the open court and likes to get down hill and finish at the rim. He has a nice looking shot from the outside and hit multiple threes in the game. He can handle the ball and initiate the offense. He uses his athleticism and length to disrupted ball handlers. He has the opportunity to make a name for himself this year and help lead the Patriots to another successful year.     Abraham is a do it all guy for his squad making him essential to have on the floor. He impressed me with his hustle and ability to out rebound bigger players. He would get boards on both sides off the ball and create extra possessions for his squad. He scores well off the ball slashing to the rim or running lanes on the break. He played solid defense and would constantly go after 50/50 balls.     Mekhi is a strong guard that can get down hill at will. He is a new face that impressed me. He was able to score for his team at the bucket and from beyond the arch. He has a nice looking shot from the outside and hit multiple corner threes in the game. He would then force his way to the bucket bumping off defenders. He would go on his own personal scoring runs and bring his team back into the game.
