Aaron's S7 Qualifier Standouts : First 6

With June ball in full effect we arrive at the Section 7 Qualifiers. The Qualifiers give teams a great chance for them to prove they are one off the best programs in the state and punch there ticket to one of the premier events in Arizona and in the Nation.   Players get to finally show college coaches and scouts the work they have put in since the season ended. Some players have taken on bigger roles or have transferred to new schools for new oppritunites.   I will have three articles containing 6 players each making up for the 18 players that impressed me the most. Only the players that i was able to view will be mentioned.   The First 6    Kaleb is a bigger size wing with real upside and potential to get to the next level. He will use his size and strength to get down hill to the bucket. He can finish through contact and draw fouls to get to the line. He has a solid handle and a nice looking midrange jumper. He will also post up and take advantage of smaller defenders. Kaleb lead his team to a unexpected bracket championship appearance and almost got the job done. I expect him to have a breakout year.     Landri is a go to scorer for his squad and can pour in buckets from all over the floor. He has a quick and tight handle that allows him to get round defenders with ease. He can get to the middle and use a floater to score over bigger defenders. He has a smooth looking jumper from the outside and can extend his range a couple feet off the three point line. He will be a huge part for the Lobos this year.     Jacai is a very crafty and smooth guard that has taken the next step as a player. He does it all for his squad at the point guard spot by setting up teammates or scoring buckets of his own. He has a quick and shifty handle and can finish around the rim with high efficiency despite his size. He likes to create in the mid range and use his fancy footwork to create space and rise up for smooth looking jumper. He is cash from beyond the arc off the dribble and catch. Jacai is a big time shot maker for his team and displayed his clutch ability in the championship game. His performance punched Williams Field a ticket to the main weekend.     Kanyon is a crafty guard with some flash to his game. He put his shifty and flashy handle on display and had the ability to break down multiple defenders. He can get to the lane and finish with finesse or through contact. He has a smooth jumper with a quick release from the outside. He can hit the three off the catch or dribble and likes to pull up off of picks. Kanyon has elite vision and will give no look drop off passes to bigs. He can have a breakout sophomore year.     King is a strong and athletic down hill guard that can score in bunches. He will use his athletic ability to get by defenders and finish high above the rim. He has a nice handle and can play on and off ball. He puts constant pressure on the rim and isn't afraid to dunk it on the break. He is a good defender and uses his length to poke balls away from ball handlers. King will be a huge part of a young West Point team.     Amir was one of the best prospects in the qualifiers and dominated almost every game. He is a scorer that has a smooth jumper and a nice handle. He can score from all three levels on the court. When getting to the bucket he uses his physicality and strong frame to bully defenders by the rim. Amir has a polished midrange game and scored multiple tough buckets through out the tournament. He was also one of the best shooters in the event with extended range. He is a underrated passer and will thread the needle in the lane and on the break. I expect him to get collage interest through out the year.
