2028 Update: Class AAA Southern MN Names to Know

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>As we get closer to the 2028 rankings update, here are more juniors-to-be that we are adding to the list from Southern Minnesota. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='3674121' first='Corey' last='Armand'] of Hutchinson. A six foot guard that started as a sophomore and scored between six and seven points a game this year. Will be a key veteran for next year and is also a good football player. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Eli Bengtson of Northfield. The 6'1 wing shot 35 percent from the arc last year and was a key player on a state tournament team. Eli is the second leading returning scorer for the Raiders next year and a player we expect to make a great pair with [player_tooltip player_id='2417228' first='Liam' last='Oakland'].</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='3674112' first='Owen' last='Castleman'] of New Ulm. Owen is walking the halls tall and proud, but likely at times a bit tired. He is a football quarterback, a double figure scorer for the basketball team at 11 a game and an all conference baseball player. Throw in the weight room and summer activities for all those sports and you have a great three sport athlete candidate. Will be a key piece on a basketball team that was a game over .500 and returns it's key pieces. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='2396691' first='Walker' last='Fjerstad'] of Kasson-Mantorville. At 6'2 Walker is the athlete of his town that never stops jumping into games and competing. He is a punt returning and versatile back/wideout touchdown scorer in football, a 9-10 point per game basketball scorer, and a high level track athlete. Walker gets into positions and competes hard as a high level athlete in whatever he does. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='2438267' first='Noah' last='Pieper'] of Marshall. This 6'4 athlete caught my eye when I saw Marshall play this winter and when he was with the Stars. A 6'4 forward that has length, toughness and some skill. I was thinking he could be a guy that could take a major jump in the 2028 class and we could be talking about him in that top 50/75 prospect area, and then I was told this young man is a high level baseball prospect as well. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='2385464' first='Noah' last='Shubert'] of Kasson-Mantorvlle. A quick releasing shooter that scored over a dozen a game and was regularly the top scorer for a KoMets team that went young because they have a very good sophomore class. Not just a good shooter but a smart shooter that takes the right shots. Had two of his best games against Stewartville scoring 18 and 20 respectively. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph -->
