The Lake Highland Prep product moves well off the ball, sees the floor and is a willing passer. He is a reliable shot maker with deep range and has the strength to play through contact. Fernandez also shows the creativity to finish in a variety of ways in the paint.

Fernandez showed his physicality during the camp, using his strong frame to create separation when attacking the basket. He’s a strong body guard who can use his strength to get where he wants on the floor and is also a solid defender who doesn’t allow opponents to get through him easily. Fernandez is a smooth finisher in transition and provides consistent scoring in the half court.
