One of if not the top of the list in Southern Arizona. Very quick. Will get the steal then blow past the defense the length of the court for the score. Rebounds the ball exceptionally well. Continues to show he's one of the top two way guards in Southern Arizona. Hustles and is a gifted shot blocker. Accounted for four blocks in the first half alone. Has an explosive first step he uses to drive the lane and scores very well through contact. Attacks the paint with confidence getting to his spots easily. Skilled with the ball and passes it well with good strength and precision. Has a very good overall game. The reigning 1A South Defensive Player of the year looked every bit of the part in this game. Confident dribbler, has the ball on a string. Will make a quick dribble move then step back into an open shot. Did very well at shaking his defenders and creating space. Handles pressure from opposing defenses well, doesn't get rushed much. Good on ball defender with quick feet who can guard the length of the court. Has great confidence. Has a very well rounded overall game. A young forward with good skill. Will drive the lane drawing in the help defender, come to a jump stop then feed the open cutter for the score. Great vision. Does a great job at keeping opposing guards from advancing the ball and getting to their spots. Attacked the basket with good skill and confidence drawing fouls on the way up. Has a good three ball off the catch he can get off quickly. Though he has the ability to score efficiently Ike is a defensive specialists who out hustles just about everyone on the court. Clears space and rebounds the ball extremely well. Showed the ability to get the three ball off. A terrific shot blocker who can hold down the paint and keep opponents shooting from the outside. He showed some really great defensive awareness. Made some good off ball reads, picking off the pass and taking it the other way for the score. A defensive menace who will cover the length of the court forcing multiple bad passes resulting in turnovers. A flat out hustle player who impacts the game well on both sides of the ball. Pushes the ball in transition consistently finding the open look. Great defensive skill and awareness. Stays in front of his man forcing opposing guards to play off rhythm and force the bad pass. Blocks shots very well for his position. Makes great reads. Communicates well on the court. Has a quick and smooth release on his shot. Bess is already looking like one of the top guards in the 2030 Southern Arizona class and will definitely develop into one under Coach Langford at Tucson High.<br></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- /wp:acf/evaluation-block -->
