CBG I-95 Championship: 15U Standouts

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The CBG I-95 Series came to an end this past weekend with the Championships, and the atmosphere and competition was off the charts with a ton of the top players in the state in the event. Here's a look some of the 15U standouts.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>Marcellus Conner | 5'11” PG | Team Loaded 757 (Co-MVP)</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Conner won Co-MVP honors as he led Loaded 757 to a perfect weekend at I-95 Championship, and looks like he'll be one of the top young guards in the 757 for years to come. The 5'11” lead guard played with terrific passion and aggression on both ends of the floor, he showed he's a talented shot maker who can play on or off the ball and make shots from multiple levels, he brought intensity and energy on the defensive end, and he made winning plays across the board for them with a kind of competitiveness you don't find in a lot of players his age.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='3538917' first='Joel' last='Fullwood'] | 6'0” PG | Team Loaded 757 (Co-MVP)</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:image {"id":3631414,"sizeSlug":"large","linkDestination":"media"} --> <figure class="wp-block-image size-large"><a href="https://prephoops.com/wp-content/uploads/sites/2/2026/05/Fullwood-Joel.jpg"><img src="https://prephoops.com/wp-content/uploads/sites/2/2026/05/Fullwood-Joel.jpg?w=1024" alt="" class="wp-image-3631414" /></a></figure> <!-- /wp:image --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Fullwood has been perhaps the most consistent and impressive player in the 15U division throughout the I-95 Series, and he's going to be one to watch at Hampton this season when he's given the reigns after their state championship. The 6'0” lefty is super talented as he showed the ability to get wherever he wants with relative ease on the ball, he created space in the midrange and from deep to knock down shots, he got downhill and used his strong frame to finish at the rim, and he made others better with his playmaking as well.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='2817686' first='Bryson' last='Ellia'] | 5'11” WG | FABO Runnin Rebels</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Ellis is a name to get familiar with moving forward, as the Caroline wing was nothing short of fantastic for a Runnin Rebels squad that made a run to the 15U championship before losing to Loaded 757. While he's still growing Ellis showed a great skillset with the ability to knock down shots from deep with good range and form, he attacked closeouts and got to spots where he showed his pull-up and got to the rim where he finished well, he was very good defensively jumping passing lanes and guarding the ball well, and he will only continue to get better as he grows and gets stronger.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>Mason Brown | 6'0” CG | [program_tooltip program_id='2078817' first='Virginia' last='Elite'] 757</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Brown had a very impressive freshman season with Phoebus, and he showed why he'll be one of the top guards in the Peninsula over the next three years with his play at the event this past weekend. The 6'0” combo showed the ability to break down defenders off the bounce with his change of pace and shiftiness, he made shots from all three levels working both on and off the ball, he showed good vision and was an unselfish playmaker, and he did a good job on the defensive end both guarding the ball and in help side.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='3539435' first='Crew' last='Griffith'] | 6'1” CG | [program_tooltip program_id='2399501' first='Team' last='Chaos'] ('30)</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:image {"id":3631415,"sizeSlug":"large","linkDestination":"media"} --> <figure class="wp-block-image size-large"><a href="https://prephoops.com/wp-content/uploads/sites/2/2026/05/Griffith-Crew.jpg"><img src="https://prephoops.com/wp-content/uploads/sites/2/2026/05/Griffith-Crew.jpg?w=1024" alt="" class="wp-image-3631415" /></a></figure> <!-- /wp:image --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Griffith split time on varsity and JV for a Miller School team that won their third straight state championship this past year, and the rising freshman is a very intriguing guard with his mix of toughness and advanced skillset for a guard his age. He showed great wiggle off the bounce changing directions well and hitting angles quickly, he showed he can drill it from deep and get to the rim and finish through contact, he made tough passes to hit open shooters both in transition and in the half court, and he showed a lot of toughness on both ends as well.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph -->
