The 7-foot center has put on weight and has ridiculous length, so he shows some flashes that are quite special. On multiple occasions during Saturday's game, the Expressions junior took one dribble inside the arc and went up for head-at-the-rim dunks—his athleticism is big time. He also can make shots from the outside and has good rim protection instincts. Bol needs to improve his IQ and feel for the game on the offensive end, but he has some extremely intriguing tools and should be looked at by scholarship-level schools despite how raw he is.

McRae is super raw, but he has some special physical tools. The 6-foot-5 wing/big has super long arms and freaky hops, so he's extremely active on the boards and as a shot blocker. He has great hands defensively, and he can guard literally anybody—he loves to compete. The unsigned senior shows flashes of impressive footwork and finishing in the paint offensively, but he needs to slow down and improve his handle if he wants to unlock his potential. McRae strikes me as a guy who could play and develop at some local community colleges in New England.

Quental doesn't initially look like a college player when you see him run up and down the floor, but he's a lot more coordinated and athletic than he seems. The 6-foot-6 forward can shoot from the mid range and three but is extremely unselfish and has really solid passing vision. Defensively, the versatile junior can block shots and rebound well, though more strength would be big for him. It takes some time to understand Quental's impact, but he should be able to find a college fit when the time comes.

This was my first time seeing Jones in person, and he impressed me a lot more than he did for Stoughton during the high school season. The 5-foot-9 point guard is a true floor general who comfortably handles pressure and loves to get his teammates involved. He's a good pick and roll operator—he can get all the way to the rim or make the pocket pass—but he's also good as a passer in transition. Jones competes extremely hard defensively and is a total pest, too, so he's not a liability despite his lack of size. He's currently a 2026 (though he might reclass last second), but he should find a college fit, perhaps at a local community college.

White was one of the most impressive 2028s I saw on Saturday. The 6-foot-4 wing is already near full development physically and uses his strength and size to bully opposing wings and bigs on both ends. But the sophomore also has way better hands and athleticism than you'd think given his size—he had a really impressive catch and finish in transition and made multiple nice catches. White can make shots from three, too, and has a pretty release that he gets off quickly. He strikes me as a high D3 player, but you never know how he could develop these next couple years, so all levels are on the table.

Miranda slowly improves every time I watch him. The 5-foot-11 guard was hot shooting the ball on Saturday and is a total pull-up machine. He has exquisite footwork on closeout drives, and he does a good job elevating in the paint for jumpers above the defense. If the big steps up, he can use a hesitation dribble and is comfortable finishing at the rim with contact. Miranda needs to develop his passing ability a bit, but he should get tons of on-ball reps with Brockton HS next season, which should help him. He's also a potential reclass candidate and is a definite college player.

This Saturday, I attended the Zero Gravity Stars and Stripes Classic at Starland Sportsplex in Hanover, MA. I took in action from the boys high school divisions.
