Bernstein is a player we instantly added to the watch list after watching him, as he has a very mature game, and we feel it could translate. He looked one step ahead at our event to start the Spring and the game slowed down for him. He had a ton of transition baskets, attacked 1-on-1 situations, and understands angles, which he used to get to the rim. Once the game opened up, he played with composure and made smart decisions in space. There’s a steadiness to the way he plays that stands out, and the court awareness is evident. He lit it up with easy baskets and is a microwave scorer and a name we added to the list, but certainly want to see more of. 

Bernstein displayed strong court awareness and anticipation, particularly when it came to reading passing lanes and creating opportunities on defense. His ability to see plays develop allowed him to disrupt opposing offenses and turn defense into offense. Bernstein was effective in transition, showing composure as he ran the break and created scoring chances for his teammates. His vision and decision making stood out, as he consistently made the right play in open space. With his combination of defensive instincts and offensive facilitation, Bernstein played an important role in helping his team generate momentum and capitalize on key opportunities.
