<p>The public schools wrapped up their sectional tournaments as Groups 1 and 3 concluded their tournaments on Saturday. Prospects put up monster performances to help their teams lift up the championship trophy. Here are the stars from the Groups 1 and 3 sectional finals.</p>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='2782185' first='Anthony' last='Blackmon'], 5'9 PG Shabazz 2028</strong></h2>

<p>Blackmon erupted for Shabazz in the N2 Group 1 final as he put up a game-high 37 points. The 5'9 guard used his speed to blow by his defender off the bounce and finished through contact around the basket. Blackmon played with supreme confidence as he knocked down jumpers from distance off the catch and bounce. He moved well without the ball in his hands and got deflections on the defensive end. Blackmon went off for 23 points in the third quarter alone, making his ability to put up points in bunches one to watch for in the state semifinals.</p>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='3544098' first='Antonio' last='Miccinilli'], 6'4 SF Waldwick 2027</strong></h2>

<p>Miccinilli saved one of his best performances of the season for last as he poured in a game-high 36 points in the N1 Group 1 final. The 6'4 wing drilled 10 triples as he wasted little motion in his release and shot the ball with confidence from deep. Miccinilli moved well without the ball in his hands, freeing himself for open jumpers all game. He skied for rebounds on both ends of the floor and used his length to influence shots around the basket. Miccinilli will be looking to carry over his success from the sectional final into the state semifinal against Shabazz.</p>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='2683648' first='Jayce' last='Rodriguez'], 6'2 SG Colonia 2028</strong></h2>

<p>Rodriguez put up 25 points for the Patriots as he helped them win their fifth straight sectional title. The 6'2 guard used his handle to beat his defender off the bounce and finished nicely around the rim. Rodriguez did more than just slash as he shot the ball with confidence from behind the arc and set his feet before he shot. He showed the ability to play on the ball as well and slid his feet on the defensive end. Rodriguez has been playing at a high level all season long for the Patriots as they look to take home the Group 3 title.</p>

<p>Beyer was a force for the Mustangs all game long as he put up a team-high 20 points and 15 rebounds. The 6'4 forward used his strong frame to get position down low and showed a nice touch around the rim. Beyer also put the ball on the floor and made passes out of the post. He ripped down rebounds on both ends of the floor and held his ground on the defensive end. Beyer is a hard-working forward prospect who will be looking to have similar success in the state semifinals.</p>

<p>Livingstone was a force for the Panthers as he put up a game-high 20 points and nine rebounds. The 6'6 forward ran the floor hard to set himself up for easy baskets in transition. Livingstone played the point man in the press, using his length to disrupt the Eagles' offense. He skied for rebounds on both ends of the floor and influenced shots around the rim. Livingstone has been playing at a high level during the state tournament and will be looking to carry it over into the state semifinals.</p>

<p>Arnold did a little bit of everything for the Warriors as he put up 19 points, seven rebounds and five assists. The 6'0 guard played with composure as he rarely got sped up by on-ball pressure and drilled the game winning free throws with under a second left in overtime. Arnold used his handle to get into the lane off the bounce and was able to find his open teammates in the half court. He pushed the pace well in transition and worked for rebounds on both ends of the floor. Arnold recently became the school's all-time leading scorer and will look to extend that lead during the state semifinals.</p>

<p>Skillman was a force down low for the Titans as he had a game-high 17 points and 10 rebounds. The 6'4 forward used his strength to get position down low and drew contact around the rim. Skillman rose up for a couple of dunks and showed a good handle on the perimeter. He ripped down rebounds on both ends of the floor and got deflections on the defensive end. Skillman is a hard-working forward prospect who should continue to dominate the paint in the state semifinals.</p>

<p>Tjoumakaris did a little bit of everything for the Red Raiders as he put up 16 points and six rebounds. The Penn soccer commit put the ball on the floor nicely as he was able to get to the rim off the bounce. Tjoumakaris was also able to get position down low and finished nicely around the rim. He used his length to get deflections on the defensive end and worked for rebounds on both ends of the floor. Tjoumakaris is a gritty forward prospect who is looking to end his varsity career with a Group 3 title.</p>
