Recruiting Report: Treye Tucker (2019)
Harlem 2019 point guard Treye Tucker is a flashy point guard that plays with a lot of flair. He is a creative passer that works well in the pick/roll finding his teammates. Quick release on his shot that can hit threes. Tucker is a fun player to watch.
How was his season at his new school?
“It was exciting. There were a few bumps throughout the year, but it was good. I started the year with mono so I was sick, but I feel like I bounced well.”
Tucker broke down where his game is at this stage.
“I feel like I can score the ball a lot more when I want. I am able to get my teammates involved whenever I want. I can see what is open and what is not and I feel that I have become a way better defender.”
He has had a lot of fun running with Team RWA this spring.
“I feel like this is one of the best teams I have played on. We have so much talent spread all over. We have a lot of offers come in.”
What is going on with recruiting?
“Right now I have an offer from Stetson and am close with them. Minot State, Miami (OH), Air Force, Winthrop, Appalachian State.”
Stetson is his lone offer at this point.
“I feel like I am pretty close with the coaches. I went down to see a game. They are coming to see me play in July.”
