There is such a vast amount of talent in North Carolina and it can be really easy for prospects to get lost in the shuffle throughout North Carolina. With modern recruiting practices being what they are, it is so tough for high school kids to get recruited and have any sense of direction late in the process as it seems everything happens at the 11th hour. Without further delay, let's take a look at some of the top available seniors in the 919 area!

[player_tooltip player_id='2464605' first='Jayden' last='Gray'] is a dynamic above the rim athletic guard at Clayton High School with a true combo guard skill-set as he can play on or off the ball. Gray is averaging 17.3 Points, 4.9 Rebounds, 3.2 Assists, and 1.3 Steals in his senior season. He is a dynamic player in transition where he has great instincts with the ball, dynamic vertical pop, and a strong frame to finish through contact when needed. Gray is streaky from beyond the arc but is capable of heating up outside from time to time. He uses his athleticism on the defensive end as well where he jumps into passing lanes or contesting shots at the rim. Gray is a no brainer next level talent and should find himself with more and more options as he comes down the stretch in his senior season.

Watkins has made the move to Northwood High School and has done an incredible job finding a way to produce at a high level while surrounded by a completely new environment. Watkins is a versatile two way wing with the ability to score at a high level inside the arc, make plays for others with his vision, and defend multiple positions on the floor. For Northwood who is 12-4 and 4-0 in conference play, Watkins is averaging 10.8 Points, 5.5 Rebounds, 3.1 Assists, and 1.3 Steals per game. He's doing all of that while shooting 59% from the floor and 72% from the line. Watkins doesn't really shoot three's and he's still able to be a productive and impactful player at both ends of the floor. I fully expect him to garner some next level attention as Northwood is poised for a deep deep playoff run.

Diop is helping lead the charge at Fuquay-Varina who is arguably the most improved public school in Wake County this season. After winning only 4 games last season, Fuquay-Varina is 11-6 with a 3-3 record in conference play with Diop leading the charge in almost every major statistical category. Diop is averaging 16.6 Points, 6.8 Rebounds, 2.8 Assists, 1.6 Steals, and 1.2 Blocks in his senior season. He's doing all of that on 49/38/78 splits proving he can do it in high volume and high efficiency. Diop is a no brainer next level kid and is frankly looking like a potential full scholarship guy at the next level. He's got legit size, the outside shot has really progressed, and he's capable of executing an offense at a high level.

Dorsette is a quick shifty guard capable of creating offense at a really high level for this Durham Academy team. Dorsette is capable of running a team that likes to play up-tempo while also being able to execute a more methodical style when needed. For 10-8 Durham Academy, Dorsette is averaging 15.6 Points, 2.8 Rebounds, 1.6 Assists, and 1.9 Steals. He's doing all of this 45/40/65 splits as well. Dorsette has deep range and a quick first step that makes him a nightmare to stop 1v1. He can shake you for a pull up jumper, raise up from distance, or go all the way by you to the basket for an easy one. Expect Dorsette to continue to play at a high level for Durham Academy and continue to garner more recruiting attention in the process.

Beale has been a consistent producer at Garner for the entirety of his high school career due to his two way versatility, motor, and consistent competitive edge. Beale possesses the ability to score it from all over the floor and has a strong frame at 6'4" allowing him to guard up in size when needed. When Beale is really on his game, he is a true mismatch with the blend of size and skill he brings to the table. I think my favorite thing about Beale is how many different ways he can impact winning based on matchup and/or what kind of teammates he's surrounded with. Beale is one of the best available utility guys in NC and should garner more next level attention as the season winds down.
