While he took a bit to settle into the game, Oloyede wound up putting together an effective performance up front with a near double-double despite the loss. A thin but rangy forward, he attacked the glass with high hands on his way to 10 boards, showing soft hands and swift technique while keeping the ball to finish in traffic. He also intrigues with flashes of shooting touch and a natural passing feel across situations. He’s still coming into his own and will need to start incorporating some physicality in his game to contend with frontcourts at the next level but presents an interesting ball of clay for the right small-college program to mold.
