The 6-foot-4 combo-guard has great size for his position, but he knows how to use his body effectively, which is more important; he plays at his own pace in the pick and roll, and he can handle and shoot it well enough to make the defense play him on the perimeter. Gueye is a super intriguing piece to RI Elite’s athletic and big 16u squad, and I’ll be curious to see how he continues to develop this season. He’s only a sophomore, so he has a lot more time to figure everything out.
