Kyler’s Tuesday Night Player Takeaways

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Week 7 of the Indiana High School Boys basketball season is underway and Prep Hoops Indiana was out and about covering all areas of the state. For myself, I was able to get out to check in on a central Indiana matchup between the Hamilton Southeastern Royals and the North Central Panthers. There was a lot of talent on the floor this one with final result seeing Hamilton Southeastern 62-53. While he still is a little raw and get's ahead of himself at times, Clark has some real nice physical tools to him and plays with a high motor. He has some sneaky microwave scoring ability due to his natural athleticism. The Emphoria State University commit is just a load of a player due to his legit strength in the low block. He hunts his shot often, plays physical, and has some real goos passing instincts as a big man. A long, lanky 6'5 prospect that can be versatile with his ability to play inside-and-out. He is not going to wow you with physical tools other than his length yet, but he has a smooth game with long strides to the basket and consistent from behind the arc. He is one to keep an eye on for the Panthers. It felt like when the Royals needed a bucket or a play after a little slump, it was Young who would deliver. He finished with 14 points and scored those in multiple areas of the floor while being aggressive. Finishing with 7 points, I thought Johnson showed some nice things on the ball for Panthers using his quick speed. Did a good job taking his defender 1v1 and getting to the rim with some shifty ability.
