Recruiting Report: Malcolm Miller (2019)
Shelbyville 2019 shooting guard Malcolm Miller is a prospect that quietly goes about his business putting up big numbers. The biggest asset in his game is his ability to shoot the ball at 6’4”. For his high school team he is allowed more opportunities to showcase other areas of his game. PrepHoopsIllinois chatted with the sharp shooter about his season.
“Junior season is going well personally and as a team this year. I think I’ve expanded my game a lot more this year on both ends of the floor as well. Rebounding and defense are two areas I think I’ve improved on a lot this year.”
What kind of numbers did he post as a junior?
“25 points, 8.5 rebounds, 4 assists, 2.5 steals, and 1 block per game.”
Miller updated on his recruitment.
“Not a whole lot this year. Gotten a letter from University of Chicago and one from Sioux Falls.”
What is he looking to show this spring on the circuit?
“To show that I’ve become more than just a shooter. I think I’ve evolved into a more all-around player this year and I want to show that this year.”
