Five Good Guys
Here is our latest installment of Five Good Guys from the weekend:
Jake Branham 6’2″ Springfield Catholic: The 2019 guard concluded an impressive week with a 44-point performance in a victory over Buffalo. It was a great follow up performance from his 34-point outing that he enjoyed in a victory over Bolivar earlier in the week.
Isiaih Mosley 6’6″ Rock Bridge: The talented 2019 wing scored 33 points and grabbed eight rebounds in a 68-57 victory over Hazelwood Central in a battle of two of the top teams in Class 5. Mosley scored 16 points in the first quarter and he was off and running from there. After the game, he picked up an offer from Bradley University.
Blake Dawson 6’1″ Fayette: The 2018 guard scored a career-high 42 points in a victory over Brookfield. Dawson had led the Falcons to a 20-victory season and a current No. 6 ranking in the Class 2 state polls.
Yuri Collins 5’11” St. Mary’s: The 2019 guard put on a brilliant performance in the Dragons’ 88-46 victory over Chaminade with 28 points, five rebounds, four assists and six steals. He followed up with 13 points, five rebounds and seven assists in an overtime victory over Duchense in an Archdiocesan Athletic Association contest.
Tycen Gray 6’4″ Farmington: The 2019 forward scored 20 points and grabbed 16 rebounds in the Knights’ 55-50 victory over Park Hills Central in the championship game of the Mineral Area Activities Association Tournament on Saturday night at Mineral Area College.
