When he was an 8th grader at Browning Springs in Madisonville, Samari was extremely impressive to me when I caught him at the 8th grade state tournament. Pettus returned to the state this summer after spending a year away and 40 is really a place holder for him until we can get eyes on him again this season. It's entirely likely that Samari is very underrated right now.

Moving in from Michigan this summer, Rolan is very raw but seems to play hard and has some skills. A legit 6'10" and still growing at 15 years old, Eilyjah could be a difference maker in the 11th region if he develops between now and February. Definitely a name to monitor, moving forward.

Miles is an explosive guard who is capable of playing high above the rim on offense and has the ability to be a lockdown defender on the defensive end of the court. Eastern should be a sleeper in Louisville this year thanks to a new coach and a new 6'11 Center with multiple D1 offers. If Aaron continues to develop and adds some bulk, it will be hard to keep him off the floor for the Eagles this season.

Recently transferring from Eastern to Scott County, Pegues is a tall athlete who has the chance to develop into a nice player. A'Darius has been playing some international games this summer and fall and that should really facilitate his development for the season ahead.

I remember seeing Phillips as a 7th grader at Evangel Christian a few years ago and filing his name away for later. After a quiet couple of years, Connor has popped up at Ballard and should be part of their young and gigantic rotation. Featuring 3 players who are 6'7 or taller, Ballard likely has the tallest front line in the state. That should allow Phillips to play the 4 and not be stuck on the block as a 5 man.
