Freshman Showcase – Team 3 Player Evaluations

He looked like an athletic guard that could handle the speed and pace at the event. It was his passing that really stood out to me. Lee put zip on his passes, getting them from A to B quickly and with no hesitation. He was a really shifty guard that could change direction and hide the ball, sending defenders leaning. Hunt played quick and fast. I liked the way he saw lanes to the rim. Lukas showed that he could put the ball on the floor with his right and attack those lanes as well. I was probably most impressed with his ability and willingness to mix it up and be active around the rim. Bowman had at least 1 put back bucket because of it. He was an active defender as well. Yeah, here's another one. Lundberg showed that he could go right and drive in traffic. Lundberg used body control to get a bucket from a spin and score off the dribble drive. He was naturally athletic with solid freedom of movement. Tillett flaunted this athleticism with a pretty in the air put back bucket. He has a frame and build that looks ready for high level high school ball already. Burt was a 2 way player. He had a steal that led to points on the other end, then at least 1 more swipe that I saw on the perimeter.
