Expert Analysis
Ben Fiegel | Prep Hoops Scout
Kingston started Power Five’s dominant win, hitting two tough threes over a taller defender. Being able to do what he does at his size is truly breathtaking. Being able to hit pull-up threes in transition at a high rate is what makes him such a special player. He also showed off his defensive skill by forcing on ball pickups and multipl five second violations. He continued his incredible shooting performance by making 2 more threes in the second half, and one of them was a step back over a much taller defender.

Hunt is a very talented freshman that should be on some radars. He’s already a dangerous shooter that walked up into at least 2 triple off the bounce. Then I saw a catch and shoot 3 for good measure. Hunt showed his ability to get to the rim with a shifty take and a flip in finish. He had quick hands on D, allowing him to knock the ball away without fouling.

Hunt showed off his game and skill at the Freshman Showcase. He was a really shifty guard that could change direction and hide the ball, sending defenders leaning. Hunt played quick and fast. I was really impressed when I saw him connect on a mid range pull up jumper.
