I was getting text messages during the event from our on-court staff coaches that this 5’10” point guard from Beech Grove High School was playing very well. He is a quick, shifty playmaker that finished a couple of right hand drives at the basket and went coast-to-coast for an impressive transition layup. There is a good deal of young talent at Beech Grove and Ruth is one that definitely stood out at Sunday’s Prep Hoops Indiana Sophomore ID Camp.
