Charlotte impacted the game with defensive pressure, activity, and a smooth offensive rhythm that kept showing up throughout the weekend. He’s a spark plug. The lefty hunted shots confidently, but even when perimeter looks weren’t falling, he still found ways to score through cuts, he got out in transition, and was even effective in a half-court set.  Defensively, he sped guards up, denied touches, and covered ground well. He’s a high-energy two-way player whose motor and athleticism continue to trend upward, but I do think he has a real opportunity to pop in a year. Now it is about getting it altogether. Curious about him but do think he boosted his stock. 

Charlotte proved that he is a true sniper from deep. He moves well without the ball, coming off screens and finding space to get his shot off quickly, making him a dangerous option when he’s on the floor. His shooting gravity alone keeps defenses stretched and constantly on alert. For his continued development, the next step will be using his speed and quickness to become more of an attacking threat. Adding the ability to put the ball on the floor, drive past defenders and finish plays will open up his offensive game even further. By becoming a more versatile scorer, he’ll not only add new ways to beat defenders but also create even cleaner looks from three. If Charlotte embraces that growth, he has the tools to develop into a complete offensive weapon this season

Charlotte impressed with his shooting ability, consistently knocking down shots from range and stretching the floor for his team. He showed an excellent knack for getting open, moving well without the ball to find his spots, and creating clean looks off the catch. Charlotte’s combination of shooting touch, court awareness, and off ball movement made him a constant scoring threat throughout the games
