<p>The lone holdover from the 2023-24 state tournament team, Luett stepped into a starring role as a junior for the Eagles last season, becoming a walking double-double. An athletic, strong 6-4 forward, he does a great job making strong contact on his box outs, high points the ball well, and has a non-stop motor. In addition to his rebounding, he averaged 17.8 points per game on 64.4% shooting.</p>

<p><strong>2.) 2027 [player_tooltip player_id='2379147' first='Reese' last='Montgomery'] (Red Oak) -- 13.1</strong></p>

<p>A strong, physical 6-5 big man with soft hands, Montgomery was a double-double machine last season, averaging a team-high 15.5 points per game in addition to controlling the glass on both ends of the floor. He pulled down 5.5 offensive rebounds a game last season.</p>

<p><strong>3.) 2027 [player_tooltip player_id='2865349' first='Bryer' last='Putman'] (Wilton) -- 12.9</strong></p>

<p>Putman is one of the most dynamic two-way players in the class, providing athleticism, size, strength, and versatility on both ends of the floor. He's relentless on the glass, pulling down 4.5 offensive and 8.5 defensive rebounds a game.</p>

<p><strong>4.) 2026 [player_tooltip player_id='2629262' first='Amani' last='Robinson'] (Columbus Catholic) -- 11.3</strong></p>

<p>A 6-3 wing who does a little bit of everything on both ends of the floor for the Sailors, Robinson also averaged a double-double last season, scoring 17.2 points a night to go with 3.5 stocks. With some help coming in the form of a few skilled transfers, the Sailors could be a sleeper in 2A led by Robinson. </p>

<p><strong>5.) 2026 Paxon Applegate (Central Decatur) -- 9.9</strong></p>

<p>Applegate is maybe a touch undersized for a traditional big at 6-2, but he's tough, plays with a ton of energy, and is a remarkably efficient finisher around the rim, shooting 64.7% from the floor.</p>

<p><strong>6.) 2027 [player_tooltip player_id='2754705' first='Chaz' last='Lane'] (Clarion-Goldfield-Dows) -- 9.5</strong></p>

<p>Lane was extremely productive as a sophomore for the Cowboys, using his 6-4 frame to lead the team in scoring (18.0), rebounding, steals (1.7), and blocks (1.1) per game. </p>

<p>A 6-4 combo forward who uses his high-level athleticism to control the glass on both ends of the floor, Figuereo was great as a junior for the Falcons on both ends, averaging 9.4 points, 9.3 rebounds, 2.6 assists, and 1.8 steals per game. His combination of size, length, and toughness make him a really versatile two-way threat.</p>

<p>A skilled 6-4 big man, Masteller got better and better as the season progressed last season, helping lead the J-Hawks to the state tournament. He understands angles and has a nose for the ball, putting himself in the right spots to pull down boards on both ends of the floor. Following the graduations of their top two scorers, the offense will flow through him this season.</p>

<p>A skilled 6-2/6-3 forward who can impact the game in a number of ways out of his post position, Heifner averaged 3.3 assists and 2.4 steals per game in addition to leading the Broncos in scoring at 15.2 a night.</p>

<p>Part of a dynamic one-two punch of athletic young 2027 big men for the Regals, Litton is a bouncy, physical forward who skies above defenders to pull down rebounds on both ends of the floor. He's long, athletic, strong, and versatile, averaging 16.8 points on 60-45-71 shooting splits.</p>
