Rock Hill Standouts from California

July 10-13 PH NorCal was in Rock Hill for the 3SSB Championships. There were a number of California teams we were able to see during our time there. Here are some California's prospects in their respective classes, 2026, 2027 who caught out attention with their play in Rock Hill.    He was on a group that hadn't played together long. The 6'7 forward found his rhythm early. With length and size, he was a regular contributor. He'll take, and make 3's from the corners on the catch, use a dribble on the wings, or come down in transition. He hit short jumpers, drove the baseline, and other angles to get paint points. He got a good number of rebounds, and tap in points.     The top 2027 center in California standing 6'10, long with good activity in the post. He's a go to guy who can rack up points in the paints, and rebounds, because of his size and length. You can lob it, he'll stuff it, or guide it into the basket. He has a hard to block jump hook, and a turnaround jumper. He gets up and down the court pretty well. He's a rim protector, changing and blocking shots. He mans the paint.     Still growing with a frame to fill. He has a good skill set for a prospect of his size, which will only improve. He's an excellent post passer, and ball mover, spotting cutters, and open shooters. He can put it on the floor with minimum dribbles to get dunks, and short range jumpers. He's a go to guy in the post. We've seen handle, pass, and make cut out on the perimeter. He'll put up open 3's, defend his size, and get rebounds.     He's a strong and effective forward working the post area at the 16u level. He moves well, he works the high post with good passing, and strong drives to the rim. He'll turn, and go up strong on the block not too bothered by contact, he showed a jump hook. He got offensive rebounds, ran the court. He has the strength, and toughness to defend bigger players, and footspeed out on the perimeter.     A long and strong forward who moves well in and around the post. He was strong turning, absorbing contact, and finishing around the rim. He got his fair share of rebounds working the boards. A good number were on the offensive side for put backs, and extra possessions. He scrapped for loose balls, got on the floor.     A long wing defender with good mobility, he can guard multiple positions. He has the length and strength to hold his own in the paint, and the footspeed, and lateral movement to be disruptive defending on the perimeter. He has the size and strength to score inside. He's a ball mover, makes good cuts to the basket.
