-Really loved the development in his offensive skillset as a forward that can score in a variety of ways while allowing the game to come to him. Mali hit a baseline J off the face-up, showed nice touch on several outbacks around the basket, knocked down C+S 18-footers, and hit a top of the key C+S 3 to give his team for good. Mali also does a great job of seeing the floor both from the low post and at the top of the key, delivering a flurry of passes that kept the defense moving throughout the game. The body has improved quite a bit and he has grown to at least 6'6, love how much more fluidly he's moving on the floor after improving his conditioning.

-The most complete performance that I've seen from the W/F tweener as Mbuyamba really stood out at both ends of the floor with his physical brand of play vs District. Mbuyamba stretched the floor nicely with two made C+S threes, finished several putbacks around the basket, and had two blocks from behind to preserve a double digit lead over the area foe. With a really strong base, quick feet, and a menacing demeanor— he rebounds really well for a player his size and can be molded into a pretty versatile defender. The handle has improved and I liked that he stepped into jumpers confidently but also didn't settle, attacking long closeouts to get to the rim to finish with authority. Should be in line for a bigger role with a Gonzaga team this season that graduated most of their rotation and welcomed a new coach for the first time in 2 decades.

-Really liked his approach to the game and utility at both ends of the floor for a pretty good PSB group. Hickson stood out defensively as a G/W tweener that gets under his matchup and anticipates changes in direction well to force bad shots and turnovers. Because of his length he can also scale up a position and do a decent job on forwards on switches depending on his team's defensive scheme for that game. Hickson got it going early with a rip through drive to the rim and lay from the wing, collected a steal and finished the AND1 lay through contact, had a chase down block to preserve a lead, curled around a screen for a 3 off a BLOB to break a tie, and hit a HUGE corner 3 to seal the win for his team.

-Thought he was probably AKT's most important player as a dynamic wing that doesn't need a ton of touches to be effective. Bahr doesn't have the tightest handle but is efficient with his dribble on his path to the rim and doesn't waste time getting into his defender's chest to negate their shot-blocking ability on his drives to the basket.

-Loved the patience that Sardo plays with on the defensive end of the floor as a physical presence on the back line for PSB. He rotates well as a helper to cut off driving lanes to the rim to force dribble pick-ups or bad shots but does so without fouling. On the offensive end of the floor he really throws caution to the wind as a physical driver looking to earn trips to the FT line or finish over the top of the defense. Want to see him become more of a vocal leader at both ends of the floor as he has the basketball IQ to know where guys need to be and direct traffic to set up both the offense and defense for his team.
