Westfield, IN - Sunday marked the final day of Prep Hoops National Open. PHD caught the 8:00 AM between [program_tooltip program_id='2075741' first='ND' last='Phenom'] 2026 vs. Minnesota Heat Conyers 17U at the Pacers Athletic Center. It was a bittersweet morning. PHD had fun watching the North Dakota ballers play one last time, but it was also the last day in the gym on the PH Circuit.

-It was good to see the NDSU coaches in the stands watching. Both the head coach and an assistant were at the game. They no doubt had their eyes on [player_tooltip player_id='2828718' first='Sage' last='Hanson'], the Bison offered him earlier in the summer.

-[program_tooltip program_id='2075741' first='ND' last='Phenom'] 2026 scoring in the win over MN Heat: [player_tooltip player_id='1327797' first='Carter' last='Evanson'] 30, [player_tooltip player_id='2828718' first='Sage' last='Hanson'] 17, [player_tooltip player_id='1332142' first='Colton' last='Reinke'] 15, [player_tooltip player_id='1422857' first='Jonathan' last='Roubideaux, Jr.'] 4, [player_tooltip player_id='1545213' first='Kenyatta' last='White'] 2, [player_tooltip player_id='2525625' first='Patrick' last='Shanahan'] 2

-[player_tooltip player_id='1327797' first='Carter' last='Evanson']: As always, Easy$ was a STAR! 5 triples and 7/7 from the line. Carter scored a cool 30 points but also dished assists, grabbed rebounds, and forced turnovers. Had a sneaky steal, drove to the rim, sweet dump-down assist to BIG Jon. Executed perfectly for a BLOB triple. Looked flawless in the catch-n-shoot game. Dropped a pretty dime to Sage in PNR action. Drilled a pull-up triple in the face of the D. Nice assist to Colton for a dunk. Attacked, danced with the ball, got the D to give space, quick pull-up 3ball, impressive. Hit and NBA triples from the top of the key. Knocked down FT's late to put the game on ice.

-[player_tooltip player_id='2828718' first='Sage' last='Hanson']: 17 points. The baller from TGU showed off his strength, muscle, and space-creating. Showed is rebounding and perfect timing when tipping in a score. Another tip-in, this one was phenomenal. Scored with multiple power finishes. Looked impressive in PNR situations. Hard screen, roll catch, DUNK. Another tip-in score, this one in heavy traffic. Post catch, attack, 2-handed WHAM. Super impressive AND1 tip-in finish, that one should have impressive the NDSU coaches.

-[player_tooltip player_id='1332142' first='Colton' last='Reinke']: 15 points and a perfect 5/5 from the FT-line. Cleared up the boards, good job of high-pointing the ball. Athletic drive to the hoop, hit a shot J. Played impressive post defense. Moved his feet, went straight up, always working. Bucket drive, 2-feet in the paint, used tow pivots and got the score. GREAT AND1 finish, showed great patience, let the defense get in the air. Aggressive attacker on Sunday, drew multiple fouls and go to the line. Used his outside hand perfectly to deflect a pass and get a steal. Excellent 2-handed dunk in traffic, likely his best dunk of the year in the last game of the season.

-Hoop City 16U picked up a win on Sunday morning, beating Booker Elite 61-56. I heard reports that [player_tooltip player_id='2846862' first='Grifin' last='Wiebenga'] and Chase Davis played well today. The South Dakota boys finished the weekend with a 3-1 record and against very solid competition.
