To top this all off, this will also be a NCAA Certified event so there is expected to be a strong college coach presence, as well. Friday night has wrapped up so let's look at five standouts from the night.

Th first player that instantly stood out to me on the night was [player_tooltip player_id='1560951' first='Jake' last='Prior'] of Heritage Hill HS. Running with Team Indiana 2026, Prior set the tone pretty well putting the ball on the floor and score off of pull-up jumpers. Also showed some great slashing ability off of quick bursts in the lane. You can see his is much more physically grown which is allowing him to do a bit more on the floor. Smooth player that can be a microwave scorer.

I think it is safe to say that [player_tooltip player_id='1561009' first='Luke' last='Weemer'] is one of the toughest matchups in the entire state of Indiana. With a strong 6'6 frame and build, Weemer is extremely versatile in the way he plays. Had a nice three off the catch but was at his best backing down his defender using his strength to score 15ft and in. Plays really hard on the floor and has that "get you a bucket" ability.

I was only able to catch a little bit of [program_tooltip program_id='2076166' first='Grand' last='Park Premier'] 17u Black and the time I did, [player_tooltip player_id='2472620' first='Landon' last='Osswald'] was a highlight on the floor. Really tough player that plays with a very high motor on the floor. Was playing more of an undersized post player for GPP but he is probably more suited as a wing/ small ball 4 at the next level. Has a strong frame that allows him to score on the defense as well as compete on the glass for rebounds. Also was pretty crafty scoring around the rim as well.

I think I would strongly say this was one of the best performances I have seen from the guard out of Bedford High School. He played that lead guard role so well being that steady force in the backcourt for Team Indiana 2027. Thought he showed really good defense which resulted in stops and steals. Made a few big time plays like a steal and assist in transition as well as throwing the best lob pass I saw all night that resulted in a huge dunk. Did a good job of drawing contact and knocking down the three ball.

It is hard to not put arguably the highest rated player in the gym as one of your standout players, and that is exactly what [player_tooltip player_id='2907580' first='JaShawn' last='Ladd'] was. Running with the loaded Indiana Basketball Club, Ladd was his usually electric self making plays on both ends of the floor with his elite bounce and athleticism. With Ladd, he draws so much attention by how talented he is which opens up more around with everybody benefiting with him on the floor. Miami (OH) was in the gym to watch him, as well.
