Prep Hoops National Open Championship: 5 2026 Players to Watch

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>This weekend, Prep Hoops Indiana will be hosting the National Open Championship at both the Pacers Athletic Center and The Farmers Bank Fieldhouse 7/18-7/20. This will arguably be our most loaded event of the summer as this will feature some of the top teams in the state of Indiana including [program_tooltip program_id='2076166' first='Grand' last='Park Premier'], Indiana Basketball Club, teams from the Indiana Elite program, and many more. There will also be teams from out of the state from Texas, Minnesota, Illinois, and many other locations. To top this all off, this will also be a NCAA Certified event so there is expected to be a strong college coach presence, as well. Thomas will be participating with Team Indiana 2027 where he has excelled both on and off the ball for them. At 6'4, Thomas is a plug-and-play type of guy with his size, high athletic, and intense defensive skills. He will be playing for Mt. We have seen Sims a few times on the Prep Hoops Circuit and he has had an impressive showing a ton of times we had a chance to watch him. A tough motor player, Sims can produce at a high level in the scoring department as well as playing that facilitator role also. Peters is a 6-foot-9 post man that has been a steady force for INB for a while now and seems to show improvement every time we get a chance to watch him. He is really solid on the pick-and-roll and developed nice hands to be able to catch and finish inside. While he is on the shorter end at 5'11, Thomas is a guard that can produce and do it with quick burst of speed on the ball. He plays with a lot of shiftiness as well being able to create on the ball for himself and others. Running with Indiana Basketball Club 2026, the upside that he has shown this AAU season has been one to watch with him proving to be one of the more versatile guards in the state. He can guard multiple positions on the defensive end, make plays off the dribble, shoot from the outside, and so much more.
