Bellfield who at times didn’t show off his handle with Howard Pulley or Team Hudson put on a full display of iso scoring ability, touch finishing at the rim to go along with his outside perimeter shooting.

Keion Bellfield is a six-foot-one-inch 2030 guard who played at DeLaSalle as an 8th grader and will attend Minnetonka starting as a freshman. Bellfield played AAU with Howard Pulley Hoops 15U team and Team Hudson at times. Bellfield has a very good shot release that is incredibly smooth, and pretty accurate. With the ball in his hands or without Bellfield showcases ability to score in multiple ways and is a crafty below the rim finisher. Bellfield’s quickness is on full display defensively with his ability to get deflections that he collects for steals and staying in front of ball handlers.

In those 3 games Bellfield shot 18 of 33 from the floor while shooting 7 of 19 from beyond the 3-point arc.

Keion was running with Team Hudson this weekend and continues to prove he is one of the top guards in this class. His perimeter shooting keeps improving, as he was pretty much automatic from three with any space and his feet set. He is so fast and is able to blow by defenders with ease in the open floor or in the half court. Bellfield was also making difficult full court passes to teammates for easy baskets.

Keion was the top guard I saw on Friday night, as he can impact the game in so many ways. He is so fast and so hard to stop on the open floor. He was making blowing right by defenders look effortless, where he can finish around the rim with either hand. He is also an excellent shooter, being nearly automatic when shooting with his feet set off the catch. Bellfield plans to attend Minnetonka for his freshman season, where he is in line to take on a solid role at the varsity level.
