IL Tune Up: 2027 Guards

Currently a 6'1” combo guard that still has room to grow. But he already has the length, frame, and bounce to be an effective player at the next level. I love his confidence, as I saw him drill several challenging buckets in different areas on the floor. He also showed good ball skills as this game went on. His shooting was on-point. Burying at least three triples when covering his matchup vs Indiana Game. He also displayed great vision as a passer in transition. Buried a contested 3-pointer vs IL Outwork and followed that up with a floater to close out the opening half. Added another floater with a minute and a half left. Very impressed with his catch-and-shoot abilities. Does a solid job of protecting the ball and creating separation off the ball. He played more like a forward with ICE, but the tools to be a productive guard are definitely there. He shows great pace moving up and down the floor and does well with controlling the ball. At one point he had a very good baseline floater. Huth has the ability to take over a game at any moment. Knocking down a string of 3-pointers as part of a key 2nd half run against ICE Sunday morning.
