Undefeated

[program_tooltip program_id='2888391' first='Minnesota' last='Comets'] Elite won the 16u level earning an impressive list of wins. They beat the second SSA North Dakota team and Minnesota Rise by 20+, knocked off Team Warwick by seven, and they beat Hoop City by a dozen. Really strong weekend of play.

North Dakota. Buckets Basketball, a team that branched off this year, won the Silver title getting by a close game and winning some other games by bigger margins. ND Phenom won the 16u Consolation title as well.

Impressive 4-1/3-1 Showings

Minnesota Crossfire Colby lost their first game but rebounded to win three games and earn a 3-1 weekend and very few teams in St. Cloud did that (at least among Minnesota teams). After losing to the Comets the Crossfire beat three Minnesota teams to have a nice weekend.

Minnesota Crossfire Ronning also had a good weekend so it was a strong weekend at 16s for the program. The Ronning program beat two South Dakota teams and [program_tooltip program_id='2078859' first='Starks' last='Elite'], and then lost their last game to a South Dakota team.

South Dakota didn't bring home any trophies but they had the event runner-up (Hoop City), two semi-finalists (Warwick), three quarterfinalists (SSA), and the consolation runner up (Heiser). Minnesota had half of the quarter-finalists but still, not a great weekend for MN teams.

Next Week!

There is no MADE Hoops, they canceled their event. So it's the Minnesota Tune Up which has some very good teams from our top 25 playing at Shakopee High School this Saturday and Sunday.
