About Cole

What's your biggest strength as a player, and how does it show up in games?

Doing the little things that help my team succeed, whether that be setting screens, boxing out and getting rebounds, or making that extra pass.

What are you working to improve right now?

I’m working to improve my overall athletic ability. Getting stronger and faster.

What are you looking for in a college program?

I am looking for a program with coaches that care about growing a winning culture and prioritize the growth of their players.

Outside of your sport, what should coaches know about you?

I am involved with my church, I love spending time with my family, and I understand what it means to be a student-athlete.

What do you want to study, and what career interests you?

I would like to major in biology and pursue a career in physical therapy.

Gilbert is a true big who manned the middle for Team 1. His big body stands out immediately and allows him to dominate the glass and win the paint on both ends of the floor. He battles for early position and has decent footwork, but he needs a little bit of work with his touch around the rim. Overall, Cole was a plus for this team, and he should be the same for a Greer team that will be on the up this year.
