2027 Rankings Update: Top 50

PH NorCal has updated the class of 2027 Rankings. These prospects have played their way into the top 50 with their play on the court. High School play-off games, or had a productive Spring. They're a +10 from their previous ranking.    Porter had a good Spring playing Bay City Warriors 16. He has good size at 6'7, a good fundamental skill set for the forward position. He can spot up along the perimeter for a 3ptr, be aggressive working in the post area defending and rebounding. He plays with a bit of a chip on his shoulder. He's all set to be a contributor on one of NorCal's top teams. Archbishop Riordan.       Newmeyer is a 6'4 PG who averaged more than 12pts a game at Tamalpais. He's now at University. His club team is Bay City Warriors 16's. He a quality point guard with good skills, and size. He has vision, often getting into the paint for points and assists. He has a reliable jump shot in the paint, from mid-range, or from up top.     He's a long rangy prospect. He's proven in the Spring he can be a reliable bucket getter in multiple ways at the 16U level. He can attack from different angles on the court, with strong takes along the baseline, and from the top using long strides, hard dribbles and balance to finish around the rim. He can handle in open court. He has range for 3's, can hit the short jumper, and get points in the paint. He'll help rebound.     After sitting out last season, (transfer rule). Perry had a good Spring. He's a long wiry forward with a rising skill set. He can get to the basket using his dribble from different angles, he works well along the baseline, he'll finish with dunks. He spots up for 3's in the corners. He'll rebound, then bring it up himself with good passing. He'll get rebounds, and block shots. Needs to bulk up a bit.     He might be the best shot blocker in the NorCal 2027 Class. Standing 6'5 he has strength, quick jump, with plenty of hops to go get balls in the air. He has timing, doesn't go for the fakes too often. He'll defend his position, rebound, pass, and run the court. He's still developing an offensive package but will finish strong around the rim. He plays for NBBA 16u on the Under Armor Rise Circuit.     He's a hard playing prospect with a growing skill set, and improved play this Spring. At 6'5, he has the size, foot speed, and strength to defend guards, and forwards. He runs the court hard filling lanes, and getting back on defense. He's an active rebounder at the 16u level. He's handling, and passing in transition. We saw strong finishes in transition, and good drives from the perimeter.     He's a tough minded competitor with good size and strength. He doesn't mind mixing it up inside. He has a a good set of skills that allows him to play outside/ in at the 16u level. He'll bang the boards, initiate contact, and score in the paint. We've seen his set up around the perimeter and shoot open 3's or use his dribble to get to the basket.     We haven't seen much of Clugage this Spring. All indications are, he's having a breakout Spring with Arsenal in the EYCL 16's. He's a 6'1 versatile guard with an improving skill set. He has foot speed, good ball handling skills. He can generate a bucket for himself and others. He gives good effort defending his position. We'll see more.
