In his matchup against Elite 6, [player_tooltip player_id='2059746' first='Lucas' last='Lau'] showed complete command of the game from start to finish. He controlled the tempo and did an excellent job organizing the floor, making sure his team operated with purpose on every possession. In the first half, he was intentional about attacking the paint, relentlessly putting pressure on the defense—he didn't even attempt a perimeter shot until the second half. His body control in mid-air was impressive, allowing him to consistently finish at the rim, often switching the ball from one hand to the other to avoid shot blockers and complete tough layups with ease.

[player_tooltip player_id='2613094' first='Tey' last='Carter'] was impressive in Anaheim, turning heads with his explosive play at the point guard position. The 6-foot floor general from Sheldon High is an absolute blur with the ball, yet plays with remarkable control despite his blazing speed. Carter consistently put pressure on the defense throughout the weekend, whether in transition or even off of a made basket. Tey forced defenders scrambling as they back-pedaled, guessing which direction he was going. Watching him in the open court is a joy; he changes pace effortlessly and attacks driving lanes with precision. One of the highlights of his game is his ability to jump from outside the lane and finish with finesse, putting english on the ball to score on the opposite side of the rim.

He's such a treat to drive with his quickness and creativity with the ball that opposing coaches may eventually try giving him space, daring him to shoot. But even then, I still feel he can get to the rim if he wants. Carter can shoot the ball from the perimeter, but with a first step like his, he's able to put more pressure on the defense by penetrating. Whether he's slashing to the basket or spotting up from the perimeter, he'll be a headache for opposing defenses.

Elijah Thomas of Elite 6 is very quick off the bounce and gets to the rim in a variety of ways with ease. Thomas is explosively athletic and incredibly bouncy. On multiple plays, he went up strong for a dunk, and when met by defenders, his hang time allowed him to adjust, either laying the ball in or drawing contact for a foul. His ability to hang in the air longer than defenders gives him a clear edge around the basket. While he has a solid arsenal of moves, he doesn't need to fully rely on them as he has an elite first step. He also puts a ton of pressure on opponents because they have to respect the blow-by and he is very capable of pulling from deep.

In multiple possessions, Seifuu showcased excellent footwork and patience, using crab dribbles to set up defenders before cradling the ball high over their heads like a veteran scorer. His touch around the rim is impressive, and his size allows him to utilize a wide array of finishes—including baby hooks, baseline reverses, and crafty up-and-under layups. One unique detail: when Seifuu elevates to dunk, he often prefers to punch it in with his off hand, adding another layer of unpredictability to his game. With his length, poise, and scoring ability, Seifuu is a tough cover and a name to watch closely

It's rare to find a big man who checks as many boxes as Jahlil Lindsay does. The 6'6" Salesian standout is mobile, versatile, physical and very skilled. He's going into his last year of high school with lots of momentum. Lindsay is the type of player you can run an offense through. He operates with poise and patience, often catching the ball free-throw line extended and goes to work out of the triple threat. From there, he becomes an absolute technician—reading defenders, using his length to size them up, and making the right read whether it's a face-up jumper, hard drive, or smooth left-handed finish. Lindsay showed he could start and run the break in transition. He even finished with a couple of fast break dunk over the weekend.

Lindsay has the ability to impact the game on both ends of the court. What doesn't go unnoticed is his communication, communicating effectively throughout the game is not an easy task. He's a natural shot blocker who moves well laterally and protects the rim without fouling. Offensively, he has soft hands and nice touch, catching everything thrown his way, and is able to finish well in traffic. His feel for the game allows him to keep plays alive, extend possessions, and consistently make winning plays.
